Four String Guitar

My four-string box guitar styled after Bo Diddley. Made this around Christmas 2012.  It started life as a kit, but I abandoned most of that. The most challenging part was shaping the neck and putting in the frets. The strap is my late Grandad's tooled leather western belt so I hope he would approve. I play it tuned to an open D chord and it has a Keith Richardsy kind of sound. It has a better action and intonation than any of my other guitars! I'm going to upgrade it at some point; I've got a single-coil pickup to put on and I might re-paint it a glittery emerald green, having just discovered Deusenberg guitars.
